Born in Rome in 1992, Gabriele Biffoni completed his studies in piano graduating magna cum laude under the guidance of Maestro Alessandro Drago. He then studied with Mo Claudio Voghera, with whom obtained the Master Degree in 2019 magna cum laude and with Mo. Enrico Pace in Accademia di Musica in Pinerolo, where he obtained the Master Diploma in 2021. From 2019 to 2021 he studied with Mo. Aleksandar Madzar in Koniklijk Conservatorium in Bruxelles, attending the Concert-musicus postgraduating course. His education includes also the participation at several master classes (K. Hellwig, B. Lupo, J. Achùcarro, G. Gromov, M. Masycheva, J. F. Antonioli, N. Fitenko, A. Ganz, C.C. Schuster).
He is passionately dedicated to the piano teaching and from 2019 he is teaching assistant of M.o Claudio Voghera. He constantly performs as a soloist or in chamber music ensembles in Italy and Europe for many important institutions (Unione Musicale, Conservatorio di Torino, Napolinova, Suonaroma ai Musei Capitolini, Umbria Classica, Accademia Arco, Accademia di
Pinerolo, Accademia Tempia, Etruria Classica, etc) and collaborates for a number of years with the Foundation Résonnance, regularly offering benefit concerts in “solidarity place”.
His experience includes the participation at several national and international piano competitions and his repertoire embraces also contemporary pieces, including compositions not yet released.
The precious encounter with Maestro Drago and then the studies with Elizabeth Sombart and Jordi Mora lead him to deepen the “Phenomenology of Music” theorized by the great orchestra
conductor Sergiu Celibidache. He improved artistically also by attending for several years the course in composition with Maestro Claudio Perugini.
In parallel with the musical courses he obtained at Sapienza University of Rome the Bachelor’s degree in Communication engineering magna cum laude with the dissertation “Physical
modeling of a piano” and he approached studies in Electronic Music and Digital Audio.
