Daniele Defilippis

Daniele Defilippis was born in Milan in 1991 and he began studying piano at an early age. He graduated both his bachelor’s and master’s under the guidance of M° Andrea Turini at the ‘F. Vittadini’ Consevatorio in Pavia and ‘G. Rossini’ Consevatorio in Pesaro, both with first-class honours. He he is improving his repertoire at the Pinerolo Music Academy under the guidance of M° Enrico Pace.
He also graduated with full marks in Philosophy at the Milan State University with a thesis on Analytical Philosophy entitled “Sounds and auditory perception”.
He participated in piano Masterclasses held with Jean François Antonioli, Roberto Cappello, Massimiliano Damerini, Paolo Francese, Andrea Lucchesini, Enrico Pace, Elisso Virsaladze, in fortepiano with John Irving and chamber music with Daniele Gay.
He also attended the course of dance accompaniment for pianists at the National Academy of Dance in Rome.
Awarded in some national and international competitions (I Premio L. Giulotto 2012, III Prize at the Bellagio 2017), he has performed in concerts in Italy (Lombardy, Emilia, Trentino, Piedmont, Tuscany, Marche, Lazio, Sicily and Veneto) and in Spain (León) as a soloist, soloist with orchestra (such as the K413 W. A. Mozart piano concerto, the L. van Beethoven piano concerto n.3, the E. Grieg piano concerto with orchestras such as FORM, “Carisch” of Milan, UniMi Academic Ensemble, Orchestra of Arezzo, Orchestra of the University of Milan-Bicocca) and in chamber music ensembles from duo to quintet (J. Brahms piano Quintet with grate artists such as the violinist Yulia Berynskaya).
In June 2020 he accompanied dance lessons held by ballerina Anna Tsiganzova (dancer at the Mariinskij Theater – primorsky stage) for Grishko-Rus and Grishko-World. In June 2021 he accompanied some lessons of the “SIAE Project” Stage collaborating with external teachers such as Irina Savitskaya and Dunia Vera Hernandez.
He has performed in concert halls such as the Pedrotti Auditorium in Pesaro, the Teatro della Fortuna in Fano, the Aula Magna of the University of Milan, the Waldensian Temple
in Milan, the Sforzesco Castle in Milan, the Euterpe hall in León, Palazzo Cavagnis in Venice, collaborating with entities such as UniMi Academic Ensemble, A. C. Monzino Foundation, Euthèrpe Foundation, Pinerolo Academy of Music, Popsophia Festival, Conservatorio “G. Rossini”, Teatro della Fortuna Foundation, M. Negri Foundation, Valdarno Piano Festival, Piano City Milan, receiving numerous appreciation from the public and from important names in the musical world.
Honorary member and member of the artistic committee and steering committee of the “Musica al Tempio” musical association, since 2011 he has participated in the artistic direction and organization of concerts at the Waldensian Temple in Milan.

He has been a piano teacher since 2015: he is piano professor at the Civic School of Music in Rozzano (MI) and at the Conservatorio “F. Vittadini” in Pavia (PV) – pre-afam courses. Some of his pupils has won national and international competitions.
