Bianca Rabaglia
Biography

Bianca Rabaglia was born in Parma on December 30, 2005; after playing her first
notes on the violin with her father, at the age of six she continued studying under the
guidance of Emilia Gavaruzzi at the “In Crescendo” School in Parma.
In 2015 and 2018 she won the First Absolute Prize at the “E lucevan le stelle”
Competition and the national selection for the ESTA concerts in Bologna and
Cremona.
She was invited, as a soloist, to Expo 2015 where she performed as part of the
“Arrivederci in Lombardia” event playing the Rieding Concertino.
At the age of nine, she was admitted to the “A. Boito” Conservatory in Parma in the
class of Grazia Serradimigni. Subsequently she participated regularly in the concerts
dedicated to the “Young Talents” of the Conservatory.
In 2017 she performed in the concert celebrating the tenth anniversary of the “E
lucevan le stelle” Competition organized by the Parma Lirica Association.
In 2018 she won the First Absolute Prize at the “Clara Wieck Schumann”
Competition in Massa.
In 2019 she played at the Auditorium del Carmine for the celebration in memory of
Piero Guarino.
She performed as a soloist in Bach’s Double Concerto for “La notte dei classici” at
the Palazzo del Governatore in Parma and as part of the Bosa Antica 2022 Festival
together with her family.
In 2020 she entered the first level Academic Three-Year Course with top marks.
In 2021 she entered the violin and chamber music classes of Luigi Mazza and
Pierpaolo Maurizzi. In the same year she was a finalist in the the Rotary Club of
Parma’s selection of young musicians. Subsequently, she played for the Lions Club
at the Reading and Conversation Room and at the ceremony for the dedication of
the Paganini statue in front of the Parma Conservatory.
She has participated in master classes with international musicians including L.
Hagen, M. Costea, A. Nannoni, A. Noferini, A. Valentino, A. Lucchesini, O. Semchuk,
S. Tchakerian, E. Bronzi, G. Gnocchi.
In 2023, she won first prize at the International Competition “Young Musicians – City
of Treviso”.
In 2024, she was selected for the “OERAT incontra i Giovani Talenti” project “ for
which she performed as a soloist in the Mendelssohn Concerto, together with the
Toscanini Orchestra, at the Teatro Regio di Parma.
She plays a copy of the Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin by Andrea Zanre’.
