Born on November 16, 2003, in Catania, Arianna Maida began studying violin at the age of seven under the guidance of Maestro V. Ceri. In 2022, at 18, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance with top marks at the “V. Bellini” Conservatory in Catania, studying with Maestro V.
Imperato, while simultaneously completing her classical high school diploma. The following November, she started her Master’s studies at the “L. Boccherini” Conservatory in Lucca under Maestro A. Bologni.
She has attended masterclasses with A. Baranov, S. Bernardini, A. Cappone, I. Rabaglia, K. Sahatci, and M. Sirbu. Arianna Maida has been a member of the Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori Italiani (O.N.C.I.), the Orchestra Giovanile Toscana, and has collaborated with the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana. She currently collaborates with the Teatro “G. Verdi” di Pisa and the orchestra of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari. She is also a member of the European Youth Orchestra “F. Busoni.”
In August 2024, she participated in the “Verão Clássico” Festival in Lisbon, attending Maestro A. Margoulis’s masterclass and performing at the TalentFest. Arianna Maida is currently studying with Maestro B. Kucharsky at the Staatliche Hochschule in Trossingen through the Erasmus Plus program.
