Alessandro Volpe is a 23 years old student who is attending the Masters degree in chamber music at the Conservatory of Music “Giuseppe Martucci” in Salerno where he received his Masters degree in piano performance cum laude with honorable mention. He has participated in Master Classes with renowned teachers such as Irene Veneziano, Andrea Lucchesini, Mats Widlund, Pasquale Iannone, Anna Kravtchenko, Leonid Margarius, Sofia Melikyan, Helena Basilova, Alexander Romanosky .
He has won first prizes in national and international competitions such as the 1st Caneres international competition Vienna, competitions sponsored by Città di Airola, Città di Baronissi, Città di Sapri, Mercato San Severino, Lams Matera, L. Mugnone – Città di Caserta and the European competition “Don Enrico Smaldone” in which he also received the special prize of the critical jury.
In 2019 Alessandro Volpe performed G. Gershwin’s Rhapsody in blue as soloist with the “G. Martucci” orchestra at the Ravello festival, and participated in numerous concerts and related events including the “Beethoven Project”, the ” Mozart Project” and the “Rachmaninov e dintorni Project” of the Alessandro Scarlatti Association in Naples, the II cycle “Jovenes Concertistas” of the CSM of Málaga-Spain , the piano recital at Palazzo Zevallos-Naples in the concert cycle “It’s Open to Everyone”, the “Itinerant” concert at the Palace Reggia di Caserta (known as the Versaille of the Mediterranean) in their festival “Music in the Space of Painting” and many others.
